Who we are:

The Ewe Association of Dallas is a vibrant community organization established in 1988, dedicated to supporting and uniting Ewe people from Ghana, Togo, and Benin in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Originating from informal gatherings in 1984, EAD promotes Ewe culture, engages in community service, and participates in larger African associations. It raises funds through member dues and volunteer work, supporting charitable activities and educational initiatives. With monthly meetings, EAD thrives on strong leadership and active member involvement, continually welcoming new members and visitors.

Our Mission:

To mobilize Ewes to support the academic, cultural, professional advancement and stability of our community and people.

Our Vision:

To form a strong union of Members, motivated solely by the shared ideal that, by coming together as Ewes, we can positively influence the image and progress of our Ewe community, both home and abroad.
